22 translation course terms
Since the last year, I have learnt so many complicated new words in english but sometimes i can forget the meaning of some words. That's why during this first semester of english translation course, I have completed this glossary in order to retain the meaning of the new words learned.
There is no a general theme. It is all the new words I have learned in the last 4 months. It can be words that I have found in the english translation course, in the american series that I watched and the music I listen to.

- In legal usage in the English-speaking world, an act of God[2] is a natural hazard outside human control, such as an earthquake or tsunami, for which no person can be held responsible.
- Example: "the flooding was surely an act of God"

- From sunset to sunrise.
- Example: " I will be with you from dusk til; dawn"

- verb
- Pay attention to; take notice of.
- Example: "he should have heeded the warnings"

- noun
- A person adept at aggressive selling or illicit dealing.
- Example: "small-time hustlers trying to sell their stuff"

- Put (a decision, plan, agreement, etc.) into effect.
- Example: "Suppliers are advised to implement actions to reduce environmental impact"

- noun
- A pre-nuptial agreement, or prenup, is an agreement entered into by a couple - preferably in good time before a marriage - which sets out how assets will be divided if they divorce or the marriage is dissolved.

- A safe deposit box (or safety deposit box) is an individually secured container—usually a metal box—that stays in the safe or vault of a federally insured bank or credit union. Safe deposit boxes are used to keep valuables, important documents, and sentimental keepsakes protected. Customers rely on the security of the building and vault to safeguard their contents.

- Resolutely or dutifully firm and unwavering.

- A dish of meat and vegetables cooked slowly in liquid in a closed dish or pan.

- According to what is generally assumed or believed (often used to indicate that the speaker doubts the truth of the statement).
- Example: "there were rumours of a rift between him and his colleagues, supposedly because they were jealous of his relationship with the Duchess"
